The website's hosting server was changed, so the demo database was cleared. The new demo has the lastest version of WFS installed. Please try it ! Old users have to re-register.

As the project is finalized, there will be no further opensource development on this project.
The final version includes history full search, sent mail database log, easy to use 'download link' feature, user specific quotas, Admin manual including backup scripts and clam antivirus add-on for uploaded documents .

On 28th of july the demo website was cleaned, so all users have been droped together with the temporary/testing uploaded files, shared folders, details, etc. It is still usable, so if you want to test it, simply register.

WebFileSystem version 2 now available on sourceforge.net!

A web-based , user frienldy interface, multi user, File Manager, php&mysql. Upload, download, copy, delete files&folders.share folders with other users.Rules for powerusers and users, advanced search history tool, manageable mail notifications & more.

Changes from release: WebFileSystem 1.3 :

-.Added an important feature :
send mail to a list of recipients (they don't have to hold an account on the site)
with coded links to files for download - trace their activity in the site's history

This is the main feature that made webfilesystem move on to version 2

-.Fixed all download bugs - no 'file header' error
-.Add specific quotas for users in the config.php file
( soon to be enabled to any administrator on the interface)
-. Added the user mail notification alert :
There is activity in a folder shared to me by someone else
-. The project has it's own web-site now, not a very impressing design , but functional !
